Get a good night's sleep, eat a meal a few hours before you come in, and stay hydrated.

Please wear comfortable clothing that makes it easy to access the area to be tattooed.

anything that will make them feel more comfortable.

Please reach out if you have additional questions. We want you to feel at ease when you come in.

Can I bring a friend?

for you and herself during your appointment.

Does it hurt to get a tattoo?

Short answer is yes, tattoos hurt. Pain is subjective and everyone is different,
so it’s hard to know exactly how your experience will go.

Jacki does verbally communicate during the tattoo to make sure you’re ok.
At any time during your appointment, if you need a break please let her know.

What can I do for pain?

Jacki does not allow any pre-numbing products. The tattoo will hurt regardless of pain relievers beforehand.

After your tattoo you can take a Tylenol but most tattoo pain is very tolerable.
Getting a tattoo feels somewhat like a sunburn sensation. You’ve got this! People have survived getting tattooed for centuries.

Can I get a tattoo if I have sensitive skin or allergies?

While rare, some people have allergic reactions to tattoo ink / aftercare products.
It is best to discuss any concerns with Jacki, and go over specifics for your tattoo appointment.

If you have other serious health conditions please discuss with your family doctor prior to booking an appointment.
